Forklift Licence (High Risk)

If you are looking to gain a licence that lets you operate a forklift Accustom Driving School is here to help. We have helped over 2000 people who wanted to advance their career by gaining extra qualifications that allowed them to take on extra responsibilities within their current or new employment. Our partnership with Regional Transport Training Services allows us to deliver superior training under their RTO: 40218 direction. Upon successful completion you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck. You will also be issued with Safework SA paperwork showing competency to obtain your High Risk Work class: LF licence.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible to obtain a Forklift (LF) Licence you must be at least 18 years of age to undertake assessment.

Upon enrolment you will be supplied with pre-course work questions.

The pre-course work questions must be completed prior to the course date or your position will be forfeited. (If this is not completed upon arrival to the course you will not be eligible to commence your 2 day course).

Students must be able to provide Accustom:

– Photo ID (drivers licence, proof of age or passport)

– USI (Unique Student Identifier)

– Have completed minimum year 10 school level / Basic Learning, Literacy, Numeracy Skills (able to read & write) and be able to fill out & return an enrolment form

– Must have the ability to use and understand English & carry out basic mathematical calculations (you can use a calculator)

Course Outline

- Pre-Course work requirement: reading & completion of pre-course questions prior to your scheduled course (Please note that if this component of the course is not completed prior to your attendance you will forfeit your position in the course)
- 2 Day Course consisting of both theory & practical components
- 9am start to 5pm finish

Cancellation/Rescheduling/Refund Policy

When a service is cancelled by Accustom a full refund of fees may apply, if this is the case participants will be notified of alternative opportunities.

Where a participant fails to attend without notifying Accustom at least 72 hours (3 full business days) prior to the service commencing, there may be no refund or the ability to re-schedule the service.

Management can offer a re-scheduling fee depending on the service and timeframe.

Accustom are unable to accept responsibility for changes to personal circumstances.

Some fees are non-refundable after payment, if resources have been provided (e.g. training kits posted/testing transaction fees).

Refunds for special circumstances are made at the discretion of Company Management.

If you are Late, your attendance will need to be confirmed with the Trainer and you may be turned away due to missing out on crucial training information.

Frequently Asked Questions

If less than 12 months expired all you need to do is contact Safework SA and they will renew your licence without attendance of this course. If the expiration is longer than 12 months you will need to resit course.

Upon successful completion of this course you will issued with Safework SA paperwork showing competency to obtain your High Risk Work class: LF licence. This paperwork must be taken to a Service SA or Post Office along with 100 point’s of identification to be submitted.

Upon Unsuccessful completion of this course you will be advised yours options to resit the course (fees apply). We may also need to discuss potential LLN support measures if required. This course has a lot of theory components which some students may struggle with. If you have LLN concerns please discuss this with us prior to booking.

You have a maximum of 60 days to submit for your High Risk Work class: LF licence at a Service SA or Post Office. If you do not submit your paperwork within this timeframe you will need to resit the course.

Yes. There is an additional fee to be paid at the time of submitting your Safework SA paperwork showing competency to obtain your High Risk Work class: LF licence. This fee is not included in your course fee paid. We cannot quote this fee amount as it is subject to change.

No. They must be 18 years of age at/on the course date when completing the course.
